Square Enix has released a new gameplay video for Oninaki focused on the Daemon character Zaav (voiced by Kenji Akabane).
In Oninaki, players can equip their characters with special Daemon attacks to enhance their skills and abilities. Here is an overview of Zaav, via the game’s official website:
A Daemon with a strong sense of justice and unwavering honesty. Even in death, the inner turmoil Zaav felt in life is evident within him. He still holds distant memories of hatred suffered and deep regrets. Zaav wields spears as he charges into the fray, and he doesn’t flinch at taking a few hard hits. He can also leap into the air, enabling him to attack from land or sky.
Previous gameplay videos featured the Daemons Wil, Dia and Rigan.
Oninaki is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC worldwide on August 22. A demo is available now.
