Famitsu Sales: 8/5/19 – 8/11/19

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software sales data for Japan for the week of August 5, 2019 to August 11, 2019. Hardware sales have yet to be published.

The highest selling new release of the week was Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch, which debuted at 11,770 retail sales. To compare, the original release debuted at 75,623 sales on PlayStation 4, while the Complete Edition debuted at 7,474 sales on the same platform. This is the first time Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is available for Switch.

Also new this week, Wolfenstein: Youngblood for PlayStation 4 opened at 2,740 retail sales and the physical edition of Tetris 99 for Switch opened at 2,528 sales.
