Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of July 29, 2019 to August 4, 2019.
The top selling new release last week was Omega Labyrinth Life for Switch, which debuted at 6,643 retail sales. Its PlayStation 4 counterpart, Labyrinth Life, did not chart in the top 10. For comparison, first week sales for the previous entry Omega Labyrinth Z were 9,320 retail copies on PlayStation 4 and 8,821 copies on PS Vita for a total of 18,141 units.
On the hardware side, Switch sold 36,613 units, PlayStation 4 family sold 10,054 units, and the 3DS family sold 2,610 units.
