Sega trademarks ‘Nights Dream Wheel’ in Japan

Possible new NiGHTS title on the way?

Sega Games has filed a trademark for “Nights Dream Wheel” in Japan.

The trademark sounds like it could be related to Sega’s NiGHTS series. The original NiGHTS into Dreams launched for Sega Saturn in July 1996, followed by PlayStation 2 in February 2008, and PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in October 2012. A sequel titled NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams launched for Wii in December 2007.

At this time, a new entry in the NiGHTS series is not known to be in development.
