Obakeidoro! will launch for Switch via the Nintendo eShop in Japan on August 1 for 1,980 yen, developer Free Style Games announced.
Free Style Games told Gematsu it also plans to release Obakeido! in North America and Europe on the same day at a price point of $19.99 / £16.99 / €19.99, but the game is still pending approval from Nintendo’s regional branches, so it cannot say for sure.
The battle-type action game is based on the Japanese variation of tag called “Keidoro” and has easy-to-play controls. It pits one player on the ghost side against three players on the human side. The ghost side has three minutes to catch and jail every player on the human side to win, while the human side has to dodge the ghost side for three minutes to win. The game also supports global online matches.
