Mega Man X DiVE launches worldwide in 2019

Capcom Taiwan will release the newly announced Mega Man X DiVE for iOS and Android devices worldwide in 2019, the company announced. It will be free-to-play.

Mega Man X DiVE is a side-scrolling action game that uses 3D graphics that aim to optimize “depth of field.” It will feature “all the elements” expected of a a Mega Man X series title, including jumping, climbing, dashing, and shooting, as well as bosses with a variety of attributes that weapons obtainable by defeating them.

The story of Mega Man X DiVE is set in a computer world known as the “Deep Log,” where the game data of the Mega Man X series is stored. The Deep Log appears to be in an abnormal state, as the Mavericks start to destroy the computer world, turning it to chaos and calling for the player to quickly “repair” it. In doing so, the player will be able to control characters from the Mega Man X series such as X, Zero, Axl, and more.
