Compile Heart launches ‘Escape’ countdown website

Compile Heart talks to a dead console.

Compile Heart

Compile Heart has updated its official website with a three-day countdown. The background of the website is covered in the word “escape,” while the bottom left corner features a logo that roughly translates to “Run Away Escape Game,” and the center of the page features a video titled “Hiring a Psychic to Hear the Thoughts of a Dead Console.” To get rid of this countdown and continue to the main Compile Heart website, you must click the “Exorcise” button on the page.

The video features a silhouetted console claimed to be dead, which becomes angry as a result of that claim. The console says it is still “working” for those who continue to use it. When asked about the recent trend of micro-transactions, it said, “The money won’t go into my pocket, so I don’t care.” When asked if there is a chance of the console reviving as a new console, it replied yes. Asked how it felt when touched, since there was no other console that had a “touch” feature, the console said it felt special. And finally, when asked why the console stopped doing “[redacted],” it replied, “Not my problem.”
