Ciconia When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry Saku delayed to late September; Ciconia opening movie

07th Expansion has delayed Ciconia When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry ni Saku from their previously planned summer release windows to late September, as well as released the opening movie for Ciconia When They Cry.

“I have some unfortunate news today…,” Ryukishi07 said in a tweet. “Thanks to your support, I finished writing the script the other day! We’re working hard on the development of Ciconia, but as we’re still adjusting the volume size, systems, and the like, the time to completion has been slightly delayed. We plan on going gold at the end of September.”

Ryukishi07 continued, “For Umineko When They Cry Saku as well, we’re applying the final adjustments to the systems and plan on going gold around the same time frame.”

Ciconia When They Cry will be released in English on MangaGamer and Steam simultaneously with the game’s Japanese release. Read more about that here.
