Aksys Games to localize otome titles for Switch in 2020 [Update]
Announcements possibly set for later today.
Aksys Games has confirmed to Anime News Network plans to localize otome titles for Switch in 2020, including “old fan favorites and some new surprises.”
The company has previously localized otome titles from Idea Factory, which in the past year or so has shifted its focus entirely to Switch titles. It is possible that Aksys Games will announce localizations for some of those titles at its “Aksys Games Panel Of GLOBAL DOMINATION!” at Anime Expo 2019 today at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET, which will be live streamed on Twitch.
Update 7:30 p.m.: Aksys Games has announced the following Switch titles for release in the west:
- Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ (December 2019)
- Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~ (2020)
- Collar x Malice (2020)
- Collar x Malice: Unlimited (2020)
- Cafe Enchante (2020)
- Piofiore (working title) (2020)
