MyDearest has revealed the official Japanese box art for the PlayStation VR version of Tokyo Chronos, as well as announced a new “Virtual Figure Mode” exclusive to the release.
The box art is illustrated by LAM, who also handled character design for the game. The theme of the artwork is “youth.”
Virtual Figure Mode is a PlayStation VR-exclusive mode that is unlocked by progressing through the story. It allows players to mix and match the main characters of the story with various background scenery to take screenshots. Players can also customize each character’s pose and direction.
Tokyo Chronos first launched worldwide for PC (Oculus Rift, Oculus Go, and HTC Vive) on March 20 and is due out for Oculus Quest on June 20. The PlayStation VR version will launch both physically and digitally on August 22 in Japan. A western release is due out this summer.
