An in-depth look at the game's farming mechanic.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Publisher XSEED Games and developer Edelweiss showcased 21 minutes of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin gameplay introducing the game’s farming mechanic during the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2019 Day 3 live stream.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin combines side-scrolling action with crafting and farming simulation gameplay. As Sakuna, “a spoiled harvest goddess banished to a dangerous island with a group of outcast humans,” players will explore the island all the while growing rice, crafting weapons, and cooking food in her mountain village home.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC this winter.
