Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie delayed to February 14, 2020
"Taking a little more time to make Sonic just right."Paramount Pictures has delayed the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie from its previously planned November released to February 14, 2020.
“Taking a little more time to make Sonic just right,” Sonic the Hedgehog director Jeff Fowler said in a tweet. It followed with a hashtag reading, “No VFX artists were harmed in the making of this movie.”
Fowler previously confirmed that the character design for Sonic would be altered following fan feedback. On May 2, Fowler tweeted, “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design and you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount and Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be…”
