Rune Factory 4 Special adds ‘Voice Comments’ and ‘Another Episode’ elements; opening movie

Marvelous confirmed two new elements for Rune Factory 4 Special during the second Rune Factory Channel broadcast today, as well as debuted the game’s opening movie.

Here are the details:

Voice Comments

“Voice Comments” from 15 voice actors will be included in the game. Its contents include stories from the recording booth, thoughts on the characters, and other must-hear comments for fans.

Another Episode

On the last Rune Factory Channel broadcast, Marvelous’ Shiro Maekawa had a suggestive reaction regarding whether or not you will be able to marry Ventuswill, but unfortunately you will not be able to tie the knot with the dragon character in this game. While Marvelous considered whether it was feasible to be able to marry Ventuswill, it came to the conclusion that it was impossible as it would shake the foundation of the story.

However, Rune Factory 4 Special will include a new element called “Another Episode.” While the details are still unknown, you will be able to see a new side to Ventuswill.

Rune Factory 4 Special is due out for Switch on July 25 in Japan and in 2019 in North America and Europe.
