Ghost Recon: Breakpoint announcement leaked

Official announcement set for May 9.

Ubisoft posted an image of the “Wolves Collector’s Edition” for the unannounced Ghost Recon: Breakpoint earlier today before swiftly removing it, according to a post on the Ghost Recon subreddit.

The publisher previously confirmed plans to debut the world premiere trailer for a new Ghost Recon game on May 9.

Several hours before the image leak, another post on the subreddit (via Game Pressure and ResetEra) posted the following information:

  • The title is Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
  • The release date is October 4.
  • Platforms are PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
  • Cole D. Walker, the character played by Jon Bernthal, is the main antagonist, who has gone rogue with an army of weaponized drones.
  • The game is a story-driven four-player cooperative experience.
  • The Ubi Store-exclusive “Wolves Collectors Edition” includes a 24-centimeter figurine of Cole, a map, art book, Year 1 Pass, “Ultimate Pack” (missions, vehicles, cosmetics, and early class unlocks), and three days early access.
