Dragon Quest Builders 2 ‘DLC No. 3: Modern Architecture Pack’ launches May 30 in Japan

Dragon Quest Builders 2 downloadable content “DLC Pack No. 3: Modern Architecture Pack” will launch on May 30 for 1,200 yen in Japan alongside a new game update, Square Enix announced.

  • Added dyable items.
  • Added the “Great Iron Door” item.
  • Added the “Shouji Door” and “Shouji Window” items for users who own DLC Pack No. 1.
  • Increased bag storage capacity to 120 items.
  • Added a mode that lets you create shallows upon upgrading the Bottomless Pot.
  • Destruction rate increased: ride friendly Golem-type monsters to break and gather material.
  • Increased the maximum function amount for some placed storage items:
    • Shelf Drawers: 16 –> 32
    • Cabinet, Closet, Big Closet, Paulownia Wood Chest: 16 –> 64
    • Display Stand: 32 –> 128
  • When searching for islands and using a password, adds a function that can reproduce the island terrain to how it was when you first visited.
  • Name the companions you meet on Materials Island.
  • Added a feature that lets you turn the Ultra Super Car light on or off after clearing the game.
  • Changed the “Icon Size” setting to also apply to icons related to battle.
  • Operability improvements and bug fixes.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Switch in Japan, and is due out in North America and Europe on July 12.
