Idea Factory International has delayed the PlayStation 4 version of Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation from its previously announced June release date to July 23 in North America and July 26 in Europe, as well as announced that the PC version will launch via Steam on July 23.
First released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in October 2017, Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation is a collection that includes three visual novels: Date A Live: Rinne Utopia, Date A Live: Arusu Install, and Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation. The former two were released for PlayStation 3 in Japan, while the latter was released for PS Vita. It also includes the drama CDs (featuring 17 songs) and special books (with thumbnail mode page skip and zoom features) originally included as bonuses for each game, which are accessible in-game.
The PlayStation 4 version will have two modified CGs. The PC version will contain all original CGs. Gameplay for both releases will be the same as the original Japanese version. The PC version will also include Traditional Chinese subtitles.
