Rune Factory 5 players will receive a special bonus for having Rune Factory 4 Special save data on their system, Marvelous announced.
Further details were not announced.
Rune Factory 5 is due out for Switch in 2020. Rune Factory 4 Special is due out for Switch on July 25 in Japan and in 2019 in North America and Europe.
