New Metal Max game preparations underway

Preparations are underway for the a new entry in the Metal Max series, according to series creator and director Hiroshi Miyaoka and producer Juntarou Kouno.

In a tweet commemorating the one year anniversary of Metal Max Xeno, Miyaoka said, “Ideas for the next game, or rather wild ideas, are being created, analyzed, and disposed of… things are cooking up!”

Kouno’s tweet added, “Together with Miyaoka and development director Yusuke Tomono, preparations for the next game are underway. Hopefully we can make an announcement for everyone in a scorching hot season reminiscent of Dystokio.”

Metal Max Xeno launched for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in April 2018 in Japan, and PlayStation 4 in September 2018 in North America and Europe.
