Both Limited Run Games and Special Reserve Games will sell a limited run physical edition of The Messenger for PlayStation 4 and Switch starting March 19 for $34.99, Limited Run Games announced. Unlike most limited run titles, there is no pre-set number of prints. Pre-orders will remain open until April 2 and physical copies will be produced based on the number of orders. The game itself will ship in June.
It should be noted that both Limited Run Games’ and Special Reserve Games’ physical editions are published by Special Reserve Games. The only difference between stores is that each will offer a different cover variant.
The product pages for the physical print of The Messenger are currently live on the Limited Run Games Store (PlayStation 4, Switch), but are not yet live on the Special Reserve Games Store.
