Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer for iOS now available in Japan
Android version still in preparation.
The smartphone version of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer is now available for iOS via the App Store in Japan for 1,800 yen.
As for the Android version, “preparations for release are moving forward, so please wait [a little longer].”
While the dungeon exploration RPG was originally released for Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, the smartphone version is a port of the 2006-released DS remake, which added new dungeons, monsters, and items, as well as various system improvements.
Here is a short list of key features:
- Explore “Mystery Dungeons” that change form each time you enter. Play them over and over again.
- Meet various characters, and even fight alongside some of them.
- Restore your strength and buy items in the villages and towns you come across on your journey.
- A simplified rescue system (random password-style).
