The Snack World: Trejarers Gold

Localization company 3Beep has listed work on “English language versions of the television series and video game” for Level-5’s The Snack World.

The Snack World anime television series aired 50 episodes from April 2017 to April 2018 in Japan. The Snack World: Trejarers video game first launched for 3DS in August 2017, followed by Switch as The Snack World: TreJarers Gold in April 2018. A smartphone version was planned, but never released.

Here is an overview of The Snack World, via Level-5 in June 2018:

The Snack World is Level-5’s latest delicacy from Japan. The top 10 TV Tokyo animated series wrapped Season 1 and now is ready for export. The Snack World is a nutty place where mythology, fairy tales, and technology are fusion fare! When an evil mogul wrongs the young hero Chup, the boy and his bite-sized crew embark on an epic adventure of serving just deserts to the giant jerk. The smash hit Snack World video game debuted on Nintendo 3DS platform in 2017 and on Nintendo Switch in spring 2018. The companion consumer products line won Best Japanese Licensed Character (New Face) at the Licensing Japan Character and Brand Licensing Trade Show in April 2018. The tasty franchise continues to dominate at Japanese retail and indicates similar success abroad.

Thanks, Japanese Nintendo.
