NieR: Automata 2nd Anniversary live stream set for February 20 [Update]

Square Enix will host a NieR: Automata two-year anniversary and Game of the YoRHa Edition launch commemoration broadcast from its Ikebukuro Storia Cafe on February 20 at 20:00 JST, the company announced. A live stream link has yet to be shared. (Update 02/12/19 at 4:20 a.m.: YouTube and Niconico links are live.)

The broadcast will feature the latest information on the series with a focus on game developer and guest discussion. Its time schedule is as follows:

  • 19:30 – Opening / Reception
  • 20:00 – Event Start
  • 22:00 – Event End

The following guests are scheduled to appear:

  • Yosuke Saito (producer)
  • Yoko Taro (director)
  • Keiichi Okabe (composer)
  • Takahisa Taura (Platinum Games game designer)
  • Naoki Yoshida (Final Fantasy XIV producer and director)
  • Special guest(s)

Square Enix is currently taking reservations for 40 guests to view the broadcast live at the cafe. Tickets cost 2,500 yen and include one drink and a light meal. Apply here.

NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition is due out for PlayStation 4 on February 21 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC worldwide on February 26.
