Love triangle visual novel Tricolour Lovestory coming to PS4 this summer in Japan
Dramatic Create porting Chinese-developed title to console.
Dramatic Create will release love triangle visual novel Tricolour Lovestory for PlayStation 4 this summer in Japan, the publisher announced. It will feature Chinese voice-overs with Japanese and Chinese text options.
Tricolour Lovestory is developed by Chinese studio HL-Galgame and first launched for PC in English and Chinese in September 2017. The PlayStation 4 version marks the first time it will be available in Japanese.

■ Story
Fall 2005. The weather in River City is warm and lovely.
His childhood, like a pair of handcuffs, shackled the boy like he was soaked in dark grey paint. Entering the “Fine Arts” classroom, he saw two girls whose auras of entirely different colors, who embraced him at the same time. He could almost say that the auras encountered, twined, parted, and twined again…
The young man was fascinated before he could even reach his inner self.
“…How about we paint something together…”
“…all three of us, from now on…”

Violet

Like the young man, she is also a transfer student, and happens to sit by his side.
With eyes deep like amethysts, dark silk-like hair a face of perfect beauty but cold as ice, and a mesmerizing bosom, she draws attention wherever she goes.
An “Ice Queen,” she did not respond when the young man greeted her. Because of this attitude, she is not the most popular among her classmates.
But in the professor’s point of view, Violet is an absolute wizard of brushes. She works her magic on a canvas like no one has ever seen before. But her art is quite distinguished from her personality and seems to be missing something crucial. What could that be?

She always lights up the room with her bright smile. But she does not always speak her mind.
She lives on the same block as the young man, and has known him for 10 years. She always tries to protect him. And though she is the younger one, she insists on acting more mature. And when he was locked up by his parents, he could always count on her.
But for some reason, she is on “no talking” terms with him.

■ Stage
- Wuhan: The River City – A beautiful city in central China, also known as “The River City.” Everyday here is new and promising.
- Wuhan No.12 High School – A prominent high school founded in 1954. It has a group of students studying Fine Art in every grade.
