Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain has four-versus-four online ‘Mercenary’ mode

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will have a eight-player competitive online mode called “Mercenary,” the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

In Mercenary, players break up into two teams of four and must defeat Aggressors while getting in the way of the opposing team and competing for “Energy Gems.”

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain is due out for PlayStation 4 worldwide on April 11.
