Metro Exodus will feature a Photo Mode from day one, publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games announced.
Photo Mode will be available for all platforms, while PC players will also benefit from support for Nvidia’s proprietary screenshot capture software Ansel.
“Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community,” said 4A Games executive producer Jon Bloch. “They’re relatively rare in first-person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”
According to Deep Silver, the reveal of Photo Mode is the first in a week of announcements for Metro Exodus. A story-focused trailer will be released tomorrow, followed by more reveals over the coming days.
Metro Exodus is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15.
