Death end re;Quest

Idea Factory International has released a new trailer and screenshots for Death end re;Quest introducing the game’s advanced battle tactics.

Specifically, the media introduces Bug Skills, the Battle Jack System, and Glitch Mode Attacks. Here is an overview of each, via Idea Factory International:

  • Bug Skills are unique skills that each of your party member has. Within each dungeon, players will come across areas that will require you to use Bug Skills to unlock areas and reach hard-to-reach places.
  • The Battle Jack System is a feature which allows Arata to assist you in-game as soon as field bugs reach 50% or lower. Here, the Battle Jack System includes the Code Jack System, Install Genre, and Summon.
    • Code Jack is a system that allows you to either buff your allies or debuff your enemies.
  • Install Genre is a feature where players can change the gameplay by switching up the genre into action, fighting, slot, shooter, puzzle, and even billiards. Choose wisely as each genre install lasts for one turn.
Summon is a feature that allows players to summon Entoma Queens that are collected after defeating them in previous battles. Entoma Queens can help tank for your party members, allowing you to regroup, heal, and buff up!

Death end re;Quest is available now for PlayStation 4 in Japan, and will launch on February 19, 2019 in North America and February 22 in Europe.
