Atlus’ Studio Zero end of 2018 greeting card message
"Creative works require a message," says Katsura Hashino.Atlus‘ Studio Zero, the developer behind Catherine: Full Body and the upcoming PROJECT Re FANTASY, has sent out an end of 2018 greeting card to outlets such as Archipel and Famitsu with a message from studio head Katsura Hashino.
The full message reads:
Now, again, I’m thinking that creative works require a message. People aren’t seeking that from their entertainment. But a message has the potential to change the person who receives it. As long as society is made up of individuals, I want to believe in the dynamism of creative works. That is perhaps precisely what fantasies are for; many people have been attracted to fantasy projects over the years, as if it’s natural—they play them—and I think that is why we do what we do. We’re still only in the middle of the road on the way to our aspirations, but it’s thanks to everyone’s support that we can continue to walk forward. 2018 is almost over. It’s my heartfelt hope that next year will be a good one for you all.
