PopoloCrois-themed Popolo Fan Festa 2018 set for December 23

Epics will host a Popolo Fan Festa 2018 in Japan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the manga on which the PopoloCrois games are based on December 23 from 13:00 to 17:00 JST at Nipponbashi Plaza Maam, the company announced. Tickets can be purchased online for 1,200 yen.

Popolo Fan Festa 2018 will feature the following events:

  • An exhibition of the art and production materials of PopoloCrois author Yousuke Tamori and designer Atsuko Fukushima.
  • A talk show featuring Tamori and PopoloCrois: Narcia’s Tears and the Fairy’s Flute script writer Junichi Fujisaku divided into two parts. (Part 1 is Junichi Fujisaku of Production I.G., and Part 2 is Yousuke Tamori.)
  • Music CD and goods sales, including the following:

  • 1998 – The anime PPopoloCrois Monogatari began broadcasting on TX/SVW and PopoRogue was released for PlayStation by Sony Computer Entertainment
  • 2000 – PopoloCrois Monogatari II was released for PlayStation by Sony Computer Entertainment
  • 2002 – PopoloCrois: Hajimari no Bouken was released for PlayStation 2 by Sony Computer Entertainment
  • 2003 – The anime PopoloCrois began broadcasting on TX/TMS
  • 2004 – PopoloCrois: Tsuki no Okite no Bouken was released for PlayStation 2 by Sony Computer Entertainment
  • 2005 – PopoloCrois Monogatari: Pietro Ouji no Bouken was released for PSP by SOny Computer Entertainment
  • 2015 – Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale was released for 3DS by Marvelous
  • 2018 – PopoloCrois: Narcia’s Tears and the Fairy’s Flute was released for smartphones by Sega Games
