Aleste 30th Anniversary

M2 has announced a new entry in the Aleste series developed under its new M2A brand. It will be released in 2019 in Japan.

Aleste is a vertical scrolling arcade shoot ’em up developed by Compile and released in 1988.

The new title is being developed under the direction of special guest Manabu Namiki, former Compile and Aleste series composer Keiji Takeuchu, and M2’s Naoki Horii and Haima Fuyuno.

Platform(s) and further details were not announced, but more information will be announced in summer 2019.
