Neko Para Vol. 1 for PS4 removes setting, increases steam
PlayStation 4 version released a day early in Japan. The PlayStation 4 version of Nekopara Vol. 1 was released a day ahead of its planned worldwide November 2 release date in Japan. With recent news of regulations by Sony Interactive Entertainment that have resulted in the editing of these types of games, players were quick to compare the PlayStation 4 version to the July-released Switch version.
Here is what Twitter user @dolly_silent found (top: PlayStation 4, bottom: Switch):
The “Chest Bounciness” setting has disappeared on the PlayStation 4 version.
“Touch Mode,” however, remains in tact.
As promised, there are no white rays covering the graphics.
Twitter user @sikosan and others report that while there are indeed no white rays covering the graphics, the amount of steam in some scenes seems to have increased.

For users against this sort of editing, a Change.org petition has been circling the web for the past couple of weeks.
