The PC version of Destiny 2 will be free to download from November 2 to 18 in celebration of its one year anniversary, publisher Activision and developer Bungie announced.
Users of Blizzard‘s Battle.net games platform, including both existing and new members, who have not already purchased Destiny 2 can claim the game as a free gift.
Existing players of Destiny 2 for PC will receive an exclusive emblem not available elsewhere in December.
New players will have the opportunity to try out Destiny 2: Forsaken‘s new four-versus-four hybrid mode “Gambit” from November 9 to 11 during the game’s Gambit Free Weekend.
The PC version of Destiny 2 is playable on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. Minimum system requirements are an Intel Core i3-3250, Intel Pentium G4560, or an AMD FX-4350, along with a GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 1050 2GB, or Radeon HD 7850. Additionally, 6GB of RAM and 104GB of hard drive space and an Internet connection are required.
