The Kickstarter campaign for Hazelnut Bastille set to launch on October 23 will include a PlayStation 4 version stretch goal and petition for a $50 physical tier, developer Aloft Studio announced.
The developer is currently committed to releasing the action RPG on Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux. Even if the campaign does not reach the stretch goal required for a PlayStation 4 version, Aloft Studio still plans to release one down the line.
As for the physical tier, Aloft Studio noted that physical copies of console games are “very expensive” to manufacture in small numbers, so in order to justify a low cost option, it will launch a petition alongside the Kickstarter campaign to indicate interest in a physical tier. If it reaches 1,000 signatures, the physical tier will be added to the campaign. Physical copies will be available for all supported platforms.
A release date for Hazelnut Bastille has yet to be announced. Users who subscribe to Aloft Studio’s newsletter at the game’s official website can gain access to a demo (or just follow this link).
