Crysis 1, 2, and 3 added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Play the Xbox 360 trilogy on Xbox One.

Crysis 1, 2, 3

Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3 are now playable on Xbox One, Microsoft announced.

Here is an overview of each game, via the Xbox Games Store:

Crysis (Xbox Games Store)

What begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over a North Korean island chain. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, become invisible to stalk enemy patrols, or boost your strength to lay waste to vehicles. An advanced AI controls your enemies, so play smart. One wrong move out here could be your last.

Crysis 2 (Xbox Games Store)

The world has been ravaged by a series of climatic disasters and society is on the verge of breakdown. Now the aliens have returned with an invasion force bent on nothing less than the total annihilation of mankind. One supersoldier wielding the Nanosuit 2, will make the last stand to save humanity. Note: Crysis 2 Multiplayer has been shut-down. See here.

Crysis 3 (Xbox Games Store)

The fate of the world is in your hands. New and old enemies threaten the peace you worked so hard to achieve 24 years ago. It won’t be easy, but your Nanosuit helps you clear a path to victory. Craft a stealthy attack to defeat your opponents quietly, or decimate the enemy with a blaze of brute force. There’s no wrong way to save the world.
