Compile Heart developing new Date A Live game due out in 2019 in Japan

A new game to coincide with the Date A Live III TV anime.

Compile Heart is developing a new Date A Live game due out in 2019 in Japan to coincide with the Date A Live III TV anime, the company announced at Fantasia Bunko Dai Kanshasai 2018. A title and platform were not announced.

The game’s story is written by Date A Live original author Koushi Tachibana and character design is by Tsunako. Natsumi, the seventh spirit to appear in the series, and a brand new spirit teased via silhouette will both appear in the game.

Compile Heart has developed multiple Date A Live titles in the past, all of which are visual novels, including:

Date A Live: Rinne Utopia (PS3, 2013)
Date A Live: Ars Install (PS3, 2014)
Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation (PS Vita, 2015)
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation HD (PS4, 2017) – A collection of all three games

The Date A Live III TV anime will begin airing in January 2019.
