About the Game
LoveR‘s Rs stand for:
Romance: A romance-themed story with each of the heroines.
Record: While pursuing love, the player can take pictures. After the confession, the player can even record videos.
This is the 22nd anniversary of love depiction! Ichiro Sugiyama, who has created various love simulation games, and Taro Mino unite for a dream collaboration: the long-awaited new love simulation game for PlayStation 4.
While deepening your love with the game’s six heroines, save your memories through photos. With beautiful visuals that implement depth of field, you can take photos full of expression.
Through communication by voice recognition, gyro photographing via the motion sensor, and more, LoveR makes full use of PlayStation 4’s features.
Besides a game for love simulation game fans, this is also a game for players who want to play games that make full use of PlayStation 4’s functionalities.
Producer and scenario writer Ichiro Sugiyama’s past works include Reco Love, Photo Kano, Kimi Kiss, and True Love Story.
Character designer Taro Mino has worked in various mediums, including games, where he was in charge of character designs, illustrations, comics, and more, and produced various hits.
Ichiro Sugiyama and development team Sweet One, who have been making love simulation games together for 10 years, have developed a new game engine to recreate the illustrations of Taro Mino in 3D. While 3D, the engine’s visuals give off a soft atmosphere.
With the gyro functionality supported by the DualShock 4’s motion sensor, you can lean the DualShock 4 to also slant the screen, and take photos with a greater sense of reality.
With voice recognition support, if you say things like “Cute!” and “Laugh for Me” during a photo session, you can get a reaction out of the heroine depending on your love level.
The photos you take can be uploaded to social networking services via PlayStation 4’s Share functionality.

Riria Takamura (voiced by Reina Kondou)
Catchphrase: “The heroine of the rhythmic gymnastics club is the chief director’s granddaughter.”
A young woman of talent and beauty, whose flashy performances stand out in the rhythmic gymnastics club. Because she is the granddaughter of the academy’s chief director, her behavior at school is immediately passed along to her family. So no one makes any advances on her. A cheerful and friendly girl, she has gotten used to this sort of environment. She has a strong core and does not back down when the situation calls for it.
Nanatsu Higadera (voiced by Kanae Itou)
Catchphrase: “The classmate who is always going all-out and loves to swim.”
Story Theme: “Rush!! ~Chottotsu Moushin Girl~”
Class: High School Class 2-A
Club: Swim Club
The protagonist’s childhood friend who has always been in the same class with him since elementary school. She is a crude girl with a sharp tongue. She is always hungry and often eats. Her personality is as bright as the midsummer sun, and she is bad at keeping still. As a swimmer, her shortness bothers her. She likes penguins.
Kasumi C. Ikuno (voiced by Manaka Iwami)
Catchphrase: “A pure girl whose friends are photographs.”
Story Theme: “Reflection ~Hikari no Reflection~”
Class: Middle School Class 2-C
Club: None
A girl with a half-Russian, half-Canadian mother. She lived in Canada when she was little. She has a shy and mature personality. She took up an interest in photography starting in middle school, and always carries a camera. All of the photographs she takes are monochrome. She has a frail body and is does not like dustiness. She is shy and quiet. She gets to know the protagonist through their shared interest in photography.
Romi Nakaza (voiced by Yuuki Takada)
Catchphrase: “The brazen school idol of the dance club.”
Story Theme: “Relation ~Idol Relation~”
Class: High School Class 1-B
Club: Dance Club
Although she just transferred to the school in April, she transformed the dance club from a cheerleading-focused club to an idol activities club. From baton twirling to hip-hop, she is a master of all things dance. With an unyielding spirit, she possesses great confidence in herself. She is not satisfied unless she gets what she wants.
Rinze Himenogi (voiced by Yui Ishikawa)
Catchphrase: “The gymnastics club angel who forgot to smile.”
Story Theme: “Refrain ~Hitori no Houkago~”
Class: Elementary School Class 5-B
Club: Gymnastics Club
A girl who does not smile and is always alone. She is mature and somewhat dark. She loves gymnastics and trains enthusiastically. When she is bored, she kills the time studying in the library. For that reason, she has good grades. Her classmates praise her as a dilligent honors student, but she does not think that herself. She dislikes her classmates’ childish behavior.
Yumina (voiced by Yumiri Hanamori)
Catchphrase: “Worried because she loves her older brother too much.”
Story Theme: “Rhapsody ~Imoutu Love Love Rhapsody~”
Class: High School Class 1-A
Club: Tennis Club
The little sister who, generally speaking, loves her older brother. She always wants to be with him, and wants to help him with anything and everything. Naturally, she models for photographs as his little sister. She actually wants him to take her picture. She wants to appeal to her older brother as a woman since he has always thought of her as a child. She loves cooking. She still has a lot to learn when it comes to tennis.
—Magical Yumina
Little sister Yumina’s magical transformation. A magical girl VTuber. Her estimated age is 9 years old. In the game, she helps the protagonist out one way or another. Starting September 20, her VTuber program “Magical Yumina no Kyou no Onii-channel” will begin broadcasting on the Internet radio station Onsen.
