Degica Games will release the version 1.2.0 update for Groove Coaster for Steam (Steam page) on September 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT, the company announced. It will add 10 songs, five avatars, and more.

Five new avatars
Calibration settings have been improved. Now able to adjust by 0.1 / 60 second intervals.
Right clicking on the Linka the navigator will change her voice from English to Japanese.
Achievements earned in game will also unlock correctly on STEAM. In the event of sudden shutdown, achievements can be unlocked on Steam by playing any song once, allowing the data to resynchronize.
In song Menu functionality has been changed, when stopping a song mid play, the player will be returned to the song select list / same song that was just played. Old functionality took the player back to the last song cleared.
Additionally, Degica Games will host a limited time high score contest to coincide with the update. Here are the details:

Prizes: 1st place for EACH of the 10 new tracks will receive one unannounced October 3 downloadable content code and one *downloadable content code! Five random entries for EACH track out of 1,000 will receive one *downloadable content code!
Finally, Degica Games revealed four tracks from retro Taito games coming soon. The Taito tracks will be releaesed free for a limited time, and cost $1.99 after the limited time free offer ends.
