Brawlhalla will add Shovel Knight as a playable character, publisher Ubisoft and developer Blue Mammoth Games announced.
The Shovel Knight character will include skins that transform him into King Knight, Dark Knight, Plague Knight, and Specter Knight.
A release date for Shovel Knight was not announced.
Brawlhalla is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC. Xbox One and Switch versions are due out on November 6 alongside the release of playable character Rayman.
Update 09/28/18 at 3:20 p.m.: Ubisoft has issued a correction to our story. Shovel Knight, King Knight, Black Knight, Plague Knight, and Specter Knight will all be skins for other characters. Shovel Knight will not be a standalone character.
