Shironeko New Project is developed by Eighting

Kamen Rider developers heading up Switch action RPG.

Shironeko New Project

The July-announced Shironeko New Project action RPG for Switch is being developed by Eighting, which was acquired by Shironeko Project owner Colopl in 2016, the company revealed.

Eighting’s list of works include Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters for PlayStation 4, the Kamen Rider: Battride War series, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, as well as cooperative development with Nintendo on some parts of Kirby: Star Allies and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Additionally, when talking about the development costs of the Switch game, Colopl executive director Jun Hasebe said, “comparatively, [costs are] no different from the smartphone game.”

Shironeko New Project is due out for Switch in 2020 in Japan.
