Diablo III: Eternal Collection coming to Switch in 2018 with The Legend of Zelda-themed bonus content
Four-player local multiplayer also an option.
Diablo III: Eternal Collection is coming to Switch in 2018 for $59.99. This news was supposed to be announced on August 16, according to Kotaku, but was published a day early by Forbes.
Like its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts, Diablo III: Eternal Collection on Switch will include the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions plus all of the other content added to Diablo III post-launch.
Exclusive to the Switch version of the game are the following The Legend of Zelda-themed bonus contents:
- “Legend of Ganondorf” cosmetic armor set
- “Triforce” portrait frame
- “Chicken” pet
- “Echoes of the Mask” cosmetic wings
The Switch version of Diablo III will also offer several ways to play with others, including up to four players on a single Switch, up to four players locally on four different Switch units, and online multiplayer. There will also be support for cloud saves.
