Original 05/08/18 at 5:05 a.m.: The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes, the latest entry in the long-running Jake Hunter Detective Story adventure game series, for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It will launch on August 9 in Japan.
In addition to three completely new scenarios, the game will also feature 10 scenarios from the smartphone app and the series’ staple “mystery case” for a total of 14 scenarios. Development is currently 70 percent complete.

Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes will cost 5,370 yen. Early purchases will include the game’s original soundtrack.
In addition to the completely new main story scenarios, the 10 scenarios previously released via the smartphone app will have completely new, high-definition graphics, and the mystery case will be a parody scenario.
Characters Scott Kingsley (Sanzou Kumano in Japan), Jake Hunter (Saburou Jinguuji), and Yulia Marks (Youko Misono) will act as the game’s protagonists and solve each case.
It has yet to be confirmed whether the game will feature voice acting.
