Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots of New Gundam Breaker introducing the heroines of Gunbre High School, Inner Frame abilities, Awakenings, and the Efreet Custom, Psychommu System Zaku, and Gundam G-Self Perfect Pack Mobile Suits.

■ A Scramble for Both Love and Parts at Gunbre High School!?
An evil organization known as “Lapras Nest” controls Gunbre High School with its power. You, the protagonist who just transferred schools, will take on the Gunpla battles within the school using your strongest Gunpla in order to bring back the smiling faces of the heroines.

■ New Element: Collecting and Strengthening “Inner Frame” Abilities
In order to win through battles at Gunbre High School, not only will you need to collect Gunpla parts, it is also important to grow your Inner Frame, which is the base of your Gunpla. In this game, you can grow your Inner Frame and acquire abilities through repeated battle. The abilities you acquire differ depending on the Inner Frame, but since all abilities have a strengthening element, the first step towards creating the strongest build fighter is the collecting and strengthening of abilities.
—Depending on the type of Inner Frame, the abilities you can collect differ. Collect and strengthen numerous abilities, and grow the Inner Frame that is your Gunpla’s base.

■ Master “Awakenings”
Another one of the keys to winning Gunpla battles is filling up the “Burst Meter” on the lower-right corner of the screen in order to use an “Awakening.: An Awakening comes with various effects, so it is important to know when to use it.
- Temporarily increases various stats (movement speed, boost speed, reaction speed)
- No damage reaction and durability automatically recovers
- Lowers parts-out and parts drop rates
- The “Frame EX Skill,” which is the special move possesses by each Inner Frame, becomes available for use
- (In situations where you changed parts from your initial Gunpla during an Awakening) You can return to the Gunpla you had at the start of the battle
—By Awakening in a state where you have lost parts, you will return to your original form from the start of the battle. By Awakening in a state where you have equipped new parts obtained during the battle, those new parts will drop to your feet.
—Use the “Frame EX Skill” tied to your Inner Frame to turn the tides of battle.

Efreet Custom
A Mobile Suit equipped with an “EXAM System” that specializes in close combat, and that has a recovery skill, making it able to run about the battlefield even when fighting without support. However, the highlight of its arsenal includes missile pods and grenade launchers for those who dare come close.
Part EX Skill Skill Description Head Exam System Mobile Suit movement speed is increased for a limited time period when invoking the OS Exam System for New-Type Annihilation. Body Field Defenser Your allies and your own Mobile Suits’ defense increases for a limited time period. Durability also automatically recovers. Arms Arm Grenade Launcher Grenade launchers installed on each arm attack both locked-on targets and surrounding enemies. Legs Leg Missile Pod Micro-missiles installed on the Mobile Suit’s legs shoot out in high succession. BP Action Burst The Mobile Suit’s movement speed increases for a limited time. Psychommu System Zaku
Sometimes using its high mobility to move freely, sometimes battling with long range attack skills, along with that appearance, it is a completely unpredictable Mobile Suit. It is also equipped with recovery skills, and can be quite troublesome until the very end of battle.
Part EX Skill Skill Descriptions Head Psychommu Using the Psychommu System, the Mobile Suit’s movement speed increases for a limited time. Body Psycho Field Through Psychommu, a barrier forms in a circumference and raises resistance to oncoming beams / physical damage for a limited time. Arms Mega Particle Rifle The forearm dislodges and shoots at locked-on targets. Legs Rocket Boost Produces astonishing speed by bringing nuclear rocket engines to their maximum output. BP Hyper Boost Tackle Tackle attack that hits with the force of all the Mobile Suit’s weight. Gundam G-Self Perfect Pack
A Perfect Pack-equipped model loaded with a variety of skills, it leaves no gap between physical attacks and defensive capabilities, making it a threatening existence to enemies. With its highly efficient capabilities, it has no issue stealing parts and turning the tables in a pinch!
Part EX Skill Skill Descriptions Head Cranial Vulcan Attacks via anti-aircraft missiles from the Mobile Suit’s head. It attacks front-facing enemies automatically. You can still move freely even when the attack is triggered. Body Photon Shield A barrier forms for a limited time following a laser emission. Enemies who interact with it become immobile for a limited time. Arms High Torque Punch A melee attack that uses field assist missiles. Legs Open Light Emits light from the photon battery. Enemies inflicted by the distracting results are briefly rendered unable to move. BP Traffic Fin An attack that fires “traffic fin” guided missiles equipped to the backpack. BP Assault Mode Backpack binders expand frontward and release a powerful beam. BP Reflector Mode When triggered, binders expand to the left and right, reducing damage from beams and physical attacks. Photon Armored Shield Shield Strike Attacks with the shield.
New Gundam Breaker is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PC on June 22. In Japan, the PlayStation 4 version will launch on June 21.
