Ryukishi07 x Itaru Hinoue project Sangeki Sandbox announced

During a Ryukishi07 Project Presentation today, Entergram announced a completely new project titled Sangeki Sandbox (Tragedy Sandbox). It will launch in 2019 in Japan.

Planning and scenario for Sangeki Sandbox are being handled by Ryukishi07, creator of visual novels Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry, while character design is being handled by Key co-founder Itaru Hinoue.

According to Ryukishi07, Sangeki Sandbox began from the idea of a collaboration with Hinoue. He wanted to write the kind of story Hinoue would write, and create a scenario for the heroines drawn by Hinoue. Currently, over 80 percent of the writing has been finished, and the manuscript is nearing completion.
