Next Atelier title to be announced around May or June

Gust shared some insight into the next Atelier title and its plans for 2018 during a “Looking Back on Atelier Lydie & Suelle and Gust Special” broadcast today.

According to Gust producer Keisuke Kikuchi, the next entry in the Atelier series will be announced around May or June and bring the series’ 20th anniversary to a close. It will have a different disposition and offer a different experience compared to previous games in the series. It was described as having a “festive feeling.”

As for the Gust brand, several new titles outside of the Atelier series are currently in development that are planned for release in 2018. When the topic of Blue Reflection arose, producer Junzo Hosoi said, “This is not the end,” before adding that developments of some sorts are being prepared, and that he will not betray the fans’ expectations.
