Naughty Dog names Neil Druckmann vice president

Neil Druckmann, creative director and programmer at Naughty Dog, is now the vice president of the company, the studio announced. In addition to this role as vice president, Druckmann will also continue his role as creative director of the upcoming The Last of Us Part II.

Naughty Dog also announced that Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau are the joint game directors of The Last of Us Part II. Both Newman and Margenau joined Naughty Dog during the development of Uncharted 2 and have been “instrumental in leading the design department,” as well as “key contributors” on subsequent games. Emilia Shatz and Richard Cambier are the game’s lead designers.

The Last of Us Part II is in development for PlayStation 4.
