Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has new details on the previously announced Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 beta set to run this spring in Japan.

The following Mobile Suits will be playable during the beta: Dom, GM Striker, Guncannon, Gundam Ground Type, Rick Dom, Zaku I Sniper Type, Zaku High Mobility Type, and Zudah.

Dom, GM Striker, and Gundam Ground Type cannot be deployed for space battles. And Rick Dom cannot be deployed for ground battles.

Energy will not be required to deploy Mobile Suits, so you can play as many times as you want without worry. Mobile Suits, armaments, and parts can be acquired by spending the DP you obtain in battle. As your rank increases, the things you can exchange DP for will increase. By using “Tokens,” which you can earn as rewards for clearing daily missions (or buy outright), you can obtain the same rewards by lottery.

The magazine also reveals that there will be a female support character named Tenda Bigin.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is a team battle action game due out for PlayStation 4 as a free-to-play title in Japan in 2018.
