The King of Fighters ’97 Global Match will launch for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC on April 5, the latest weekly “The Drop” post on the PlayStation Blog reveals.

As previously announced, The King of Fighters ’97 Global Match is a port of The King of Fighters ’97, but with global online battles as a newly implemented feature. Players will be able to choose between two distinct play styles, “Advance Mode” and “Extra Mode,” and PlayStation 4 and PS Vita users will be able to play against each other.

Update: The PlayStation Blog has updated the release date to April 3.
