Square Enix trademarks Idol Fantasy in Japan

Square Enix has trademarked the name “Idol Fantasy” in Japan.

The trademark would seem to suggest Square Enix is planning or considering crossing its main franchise, Final Fantasy, with Japanese idols. Either that, or it is a new title that simply uses the word “Fantasy.”
