Monster Hunter: World is the highlight of the upcoming week of Japanese game releases. It throws players into the newly discovered continent that is the New World, where they will fight monsters in open world locations with living ecosystems. Defeating monsters will earn you materials to create new equipment and take on even stronger enemies. There is also drop-in, drop-out online co-op for up to four players and free updates planned post-release.
Also new this week is the retail version of Voez for Switch. Unlike its digital counterpart, the retail version of the Rayark-developed rhythm game will support TV mode and controller-based gameplay.
Other new launches this week include spas Vita visual novels Hello Lady! Superior Dynamis and Katahane -An’ call Belle-, as well as many digital-only titles for Switch. There is also Ninki Seiyuu no Tsukurikata for both PS Vita and PlayStation 4, as well as The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia for PlayStation 4.
