Maitetsu: Pure Station launches July 26 in Japan, adds VR Viewer
Get up close and personal with Hachiroku.Lose visual novel Maitetsu: Pure Station will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on July 26, publisher Views announced.
The standard edition will cost 6,800 yen; a special deluxe edition with a 1/6 scale figure of Hachiroku will cost 26,000 yen; a special deluxe edition with a body pillow cover of Hachiroku will cost 18,800 yen; and a special deluxe edition with a B2 triple suede tapestry will cost 12,800 yen.
Maitetsu: Pure Station is a port of the original PC version of Maitetsu, but adds a PlayStation VR-supported VR Viewer, pictured below, that lets players get up close and personal with Hachiroku.
Maitetsu first launched for PC in Japan in March 2016. Sekai Project plans to release the PC version in English in 2018. Read more about that version, including details on the story and characters here.
