Digimon ReArise announced for smartphones [Update]

Due out in 2018 in Japan.

Digimon

The latest issue of V-Jump unveils Digimon ReArise, a new “friendship evolution RPG” for smartphones featuring character designs by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. It will launch in Japan in 2018.

In Digimon ReArise, players will bring up their friendships with Digimon in a Digi-Town. Original Digimon will also appear. It will depict friendship with Digimon, as well as an unknown threat in the real world and Digital World.

While scans of Digimon ReArise have yet to surface, our source describes the game style as close to Digimon World, and the Digi-Town as something like Animal Crossing.

Thanks, Ryokutya2089.

Update 9:50 p.m.: While we previously referred to it as “Digimon Realize,” the game is actually titled Digimon ReArise. Here is a scan from the latest issue of V-Jump previewing the April 2018 issue of the magazine, which will release on February 21. The April issue will have more information about the game.
